Privacy policy

PilotKeys is a free study tool. It is designed to work without asking you for any data: there is no sign-up and there are no forms.

1. Controller

2. The calculator: your calculations never leave your device

Everything you type into the calculator is processed in your own browser. It is not sent to any server and we neither see it nor store it.

Your browser stores only your practice preferences («Exam mode», «Study helper» and «Use keyboard») to remember them on your next visit. They are not cookies, they do not identify you, and you can delete them from your browser settings.

3. Cookie-free visit statistics

To know how many people use the site we may use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly European tool: it uses no cookies, collects no personal data, does not follow you across other sites and only gives aggregate figures. PENDING: confirm this section when analytics is switched on; remove it otherwise.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is funded by Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use third-party advertising cookies to show and measure ads and, if you accept, personalise them. Consent is managed through the Google message shown when you arrive. More information in our cookie policy and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

5. Other services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; when they are downloaded Google receives your IP address, as with any web resource. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which keeps the usual technical server logs.

6. Your rights

Although this site asks you for no data, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to the contact email. If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
